Emma's birthday party was a bowling party! |
Jess had never been bowling before, but she seemed to catch on pretty quick. |
Penny and Jess spurned both parental help and the kiddie-ramp, which resulted in some comically slow frames. |
How is it that even bowling shoes look cute on little kids??? |
Penny eventually settled for setting her ball down and pushing it down the lane. |
Emma and Penny. Little kids bowling have no concept of bowling etiquette, like waiting for the next lane before taking your turn. |
Waiting for the results... |
Of course, we all know what parties are really for! |
Cake! |
Family room progress: The floor is going in - yay! The water heater broke and had to be replaced - boo! |
Finally, all done! A couple of inspections left to do, but nothing to keep us from moving stuff in... |
Evan and Aimee came for a visit. Penny took to Aimee immediately. full-size available |
Evan she was a bit slower to accept, but eventually she decided he was okay, too. full-size available |
Penny's little brother. I think I'll call him Monkeyface. At least, until we pick an real name for him. He was frustratingly camera-shy, though. |
Yay, scrapbook convention! Top row: Angela, Becky, me, Susan H., Gloria, Heather, Miriam, Brooke. Bottom: No idea, Christina, Susan B., Carrie. You may recognize some of them from previous scrappy events. full-size available |
What does a room full of 1200 scrapbookers look like? Well... my camera could only hold about a third of the room at a time. |
The Belly at 25 weeks (almost 6 months) |
Having a good day! |
We like to play with the mirrors at the store. |
